Shakir Eminbeyli

Shakir Eminbeyli is a prominent Azerbaijani media manager, journalist, and public figure who assumed the role of General Secretary of the Azerbaijan Ecotourism Association (AzETA) in July 2026. With over two decades of extensive leadership experience spanning international mass media, cultural promotion, and public initiatives, Mr. Eminbeyli brings a dynamic, communicative approach to advancing sustainable and ecological tourism in Azerbaijan.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has served as the head of the “Voice of Azerbaijan” television agency, the official representative of the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) in Azerbaijan, and the director of the “Media-Invest” company, which published the popular science magazine Discovery Azerbaijan. An expert in extreme journalism and international public relations, he has consistently leveraged media to highlight regional heritage, environmental awareness, and cultural preservation.
In his capacity as Secretary General, Mr. Eminbeyli is dedicated to driving AzETA’s strategic vision – fostering community-based ecotourism initiatives, strengthening international partnerships, and promoting Azerbaijan’s rich, diverse natural landscapes as premier sustainable travel destinations.
